Pasteurizing baths OZU-0,35

Units and parts that contact with the product are made of materials approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for use in the food industry.

Pasteurizing baths of the OZU series operate at normal atmospheric pressure. In the upper part of the bath there is a special semi-circular hatch-cover and a mixing device drive.

The pasteurization bath tank consists of three parts: an internal bath, an external bath and a lining. The inter-wall space between the outer and inner baths is filled with tap water (water jacket). When the upper level is reached, excess water is drained into the sewer through the overflow pipe. Cooling water is supplied and drained in the same way. Filling the working volume of the internal bath with the product is carried out through a special branch pipe located in the upper part of the unit. The filling level of the working volume of the inner bath is controlled by a level sensor.

In the lower part of the water jacket there is a coil through which steam passes, or blocks with electric heating elements. The heating of the product in the inner bath is carried out with continuous stirring due to the heated water in the interstitial space. At the same time, the mixer is located at a certain angle, for better mixing and raising the lower layers of the product. There is a heat shield between the cladding and the outdoor bath to reduce heat loss.
The product is drained through a specially designed outlet cock, which has a minimum of stagnant zones, and is located in the lower part of the inner bath. The bottom of the inner bath has a slope towards the drain hole.
Steam heated baths also include a steam valve and a steam trap. Steam is supplied to the system (to the coil) manually.

OZU-0.35 pasteurization baths are equipped with control panels.

1. In the case of execution of pasteurization baths with steam heating, the control panel provides the following functions:

• setting technological parameters (temperature conditions and holding time at the required temperature);
• control of the agitator drive;
• automatic shutdown of the external pump (supply of the product to the pasteurization bath) when the upper filling level of the working volume is reached.

Control over technological parameters is carried out visually according to the indications of control panel devices, as well as with the help of light signaling.

2. In the case of pasteurization baths with electric heating, the control panel additionally provides the following functions:

• switching on heating with selective power: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% (electric heating elements are combined into blocks and divided into 4 steps).
• automatic maintenance of the desired temperature in a specified interval for a specified period of time. (The control panel is equipped with a timer for 99 minutes (for the basic version) or 9999 minutes of continuous operation).
